The popular travel website Expedia has something new for the LGBT travelers: its new Gay Travel Section.

Expedia now offers travel guides to 15 'top gay destinations': San Francisco, Amsterdam, New Orleans, Puerto Vallarta, Barcelona, Berlin, Chicago, London, Los Angeles, New York City, Palm Springs, Paris, Provincetown, South Florida and Toronto. It also lists Gay Pride events with dates and links.

It has been difficult to find LGBT-friendly hotels and destinations. Therefore Expedia worked with the International Gay and Lesbian Travel Association to cover this setback.

Expedia's Gay Travel Section is currently offering deals at 418 hotels in dozens of countries that includes Thailand, Canada, Israel and the United Arab Emirates.

With offerings such as the one from Expedia, I hope that LGBT travelers won't have problems choosing the best destinations.
