India Can Be Next Big Gay Destination

In the past, homosexuality is illegal in India. But times have changed: a Delhi High Court ruling last year decriminalized same-sex intercourse and sensitivity toward gay people and bisexuals is growing in major cities like Mumbai and New Delhi.
Now businesses are beginning to cater to gay clientele and same-sex parties and clubs (that had been required to stay underground) are increasingly becoming really present. However, same-sex marriage is still not legal in India. Unlike its neighbor Nepal which has legalized same-sex marriage in December 2007.
At least the hospitality business in India now caters to gay tourists. Places like Goa and Kerala could easily be marketed as honeymoon spots for gay couples, as these are already known for their beach party towns.
